Sheer Heaven
I like sheer pieces for late summer layering and wish I had more of them. An organza top looks good over a cheeky bra or vest, and wearing a sheer chiffon skirt with a dress can build volume without weighing you down.
Here are some of my favorite sheer and semi-sheer numbers I’ve seen this week.
There are so many ways to style and layer this 90s sheer organza shirt from Female Hysteria Vintage (overtop a spaghetti strap midi dress, under a blazer, under a bustier…):
I also love this adorable two-piece 70s print chiffon dress from them:
I’ve resisted buying antique tops for a long time because I think I would find them too precious to wear often, but I should probably just get over that already and buy a piece like this exquisite marigold silk and ruffled lace jacket from Spoon Vintage:
I also love this antique ruffled lace camisole from them.
This Edwardian collared opera blouse from Vaux Vintage looks so comfy and wearable:
One of my new favorite sellers, Sacred Garden Vintage, just previewed this buttery soft antique Edwardian silk mesh gown on Insta:
Do you work from home? How about this 70s sheer mesh nightie from Arsenic Kitty Vintage?
I love this sheer cream coverup from Singulier MTL for running around town (note the nice price point!):
Another great layering opportunity is this 1930s mint green organdy gown from Persephone Vintage:
I’m deeply distressed that I missed out on this 1930s puff sleeve bolero I was eyeing from Gossamer:
Finally, loving this Y2K hot pink Victoria’s Secret babydoll top from Loser Thrift for going dancing on hot Austin nights:
Thanks for reading! FYI, you can also check out my DePop at @SellBlockTango. All proceeds this month are going to flood relief in Eastern Kentucky.
